Abstract:
Service sector expansion is a common trend of modern economies and it accounts more than half of the GDP in most of the developed and developing economies. Specially with modern virtualization growing demand can be seen for the service providers. Individuals as well as organizations tend to outsource most of their functions and concentrate more on their key operations. Importantly like manufacturing sector majority of businesses in service sector are SMEs and that increases the value and competitiveness of the sector. Eventhough, service sector SMEs play a pivotal role in any economy lack of entrepreneurial sight limit their growing potentials in long run. Entrepreneurial orientation is essential for any business to win highly competitive modern business environment. This study is focusing on measuring the impact of entrepreneurial orientation of service sector SMEs to their performance. It is a quantitative study and used the sample of 100 service sector entrepreneurs.
