dc.description.abstract Islamic banking has a than history in Sri Lanka. Having introduced in 1997, the bool banks were venturing into the arena gradually and today there are Oats bodes and commercial banks operating in Islamic Banking. There are many other institutions including Islamic Micro Financiers offering Murabaha, Mudarabah, Ijara, Waked, Musharaka, Diminishing Musharaka, Takqfideta Hence & is very much important to investigate the present conddion of the industry, which led the rcsearcheri to review the existing literature regarding /tfamfc baRkbtg in Sri Lanka.
